Split Funded Group Plan
Background
Many employers pay a preset monthly premium for their group health insurance plan. The monthly premium covers all costs associated with the plan, including claims, administration, and reserves. While some employers find this traditional approach convenient, others find it limiting and inflexible. Midwest Security's Split Funded Plan offers businesses an alternative to the traditional approach.
Concept
Midwest Security's Split Funded Plan combines the best features of a traditional plan and a Self Funded Plan. It does this by having an Employer Plan that is a fully insured, high deductible plan and an Employee Plan that is self funded and funded by the premium savings of the Employer Plan.
Businesses that have between 25 and 150 covered employees can use Midwest Security's Split Funded Plan.
See the Split Funded brochure for details about this flexible solution for affordable group health benefits.
